Farm Happening (12th DELIVERY SUMMER)

Posted on August 12th, 2020 by Diane Riehm

[RPFarm]

We are doing a happy dance at the farm!!

Yep, we are DIGGING it!

A trip to Pennsylvania to get a potato digger for the farm. No more hand shoveling, yeah!

Mass potato harvesting begins later in the season!

BUT, Look for some potatoes on the extra list in the future until we get them harvested in larger quantities for our Fall/Winter CSA farm shares!

GOOD THINGS TO COME!

Finally met our GOAL!

A FOUR-year-long process of getting the pictures on the truck.

Now you can see us coming!!!

We were newbies at it.

Learned a lot on the way and feeling accomplished.

What food GOALS have you met this year?

  • Did you try a different veggie
  • Did you learn how to use an instapot or air fryer
  • Did you cook more at home
  • Did you learn to properly store your produce to keep it fresh longer?
  • Did you find a different way to prepare a vegetable?
  • Did you share an idea in one of our Facebook groups?
  • Did you find yourself excited about your new bag arriving?
  • Did you share with someone?

CONGRATS! You're getting there...

SOLUTION to your dreams. Use this quote: Inch by inch it's a cinch...Yard by yard it's hard.

We believe in YOU!

Stick with it, interact with the Facebook groups.

Heirloom tomatoes offer an intense flavor that puts them in a class of their own. Different varieties and flavors are Farmer Phil's favorites!

Don't mind the cracks because they are a rich source of vitamin C, which helps nourish the adrenal glands and reduces stress

Imagine eating several different colors all at once on your tongue.

Creamy yellow, Bright purple, and Gorgeous red cherry tomatoes.
