Lettuce looks beautiful and crisp this time of the year as you've probably noticed!

Want to know the secret to storing your lettuce and all your greens?

Refrigerate the package that we already have made for you. This will keep your greens from dehydrating.

Leave the moist paper towel on the bottom of the greens to hold the moisture in.

How convenient is that?!

You know how you never get tired of hamburger...

Swiss chard is similar since there are SO MANY different ways to add it to your meals.

Want a fun way to change up breakfast? Try adding Swiss chard to your eggs as an alternative to spinach. Toss raw into your breakfast burrito.

Lunch/Dinner ideas: Great in soups and salads, chop and toss in your pasta dish, cream it for a sauce or saute it with garlic.

One way to help remove heavy metal toxins from your body caused by the environment is by eating cilantro. These plant leaves have properties that bind to these heavy metals to help remove them.

Cilantro has other health benefits:

  • Reduces nausea and swelling
  • Increases HDL cholesterol and decreases LDL
  • Promotes liver health

Toss cilantro in both raw or cooked foods. Blend it together with olive oil, lime juice and salt for a tasty seasoning in salads or veggies.
