Farm Happenings for April 18, 2020

Posted on April 13th, 2020 by Ben Sayler

Hello Local Farm Supporters!

Wow, crazy weather this week. It has been warm, cold, windy, calm, cloudy, sunny, and raining all in the span of a few days! A large tree fell on our power lines Thursday and we did not have power from noon to after midnight. Heather and the kids made candles a few weeks ago and they got put to good use.

Thank you very much for all of your support of the past few weeks. We are glad to have fresh, local, safe food for you to enjoy. We have several NEW items this week including:

Honey-wildflower and clover-from Hay's Apiary

Kombucha-3 flavors-from The Kombucha Lady

Cheese-3 flavors-from Whispering Breeze Farm

Sprouts-alfalfa and radish-from Potomac Sprout Company

The chickens are laying more eggs and we will be able to fulfill more orders this week. Order Maximum is still one dozen per customer, first ordered-first served. We hope everybody who wants eggs will be able to get a dozen this week.

The spring crops are growing nicely and we will have more variety coming soon.

Note on Ordering: After purchasing your 'share', you will receive an email confirmation that lists only the $1 farm stand service fee. You then have until 10 am on Friday to view your order, make changes, or cancel order by logging into your account. You will receive an email confirmation on Friday that details your full order. Your credit card on file will be charged on Friday as well.

Be Healthy, Be Happy,

The Sayler Family
