Well, we didn't know what to expect and maybe that was a good thing...lol.
Yesterday we hosted our first Easter Hop (Scavenger Hunt) which was broadcasted over the FB airwaves throughout Riverside South, Findlay Creek, Hunt Club and Uplands/Mooney's Bay. 200 plus people came all eager to hunt for eggs, roam the fields solving riddles and then lined up eagerly for a tractor and wagon ride. Just too fun. How nice to know that these things are still considered worthwhile.
A special thank you to Linh, a former CSA member and trained Holistic Nutritionist who has joined our team for the season. Also, a HUGE shout out to Chiara and Dominic who really leaned and helped with the little ones and knocked off a few H/S community hours in the process.
If you missed this event and you are all sad...cheer up! There is the pumpkin planting in the first week of June.
We are hiring a Farm Store Manager this season. A pretty big role so we are screening for someone with some mileage. Here is the link in case you have some interest.

It is cool and cold outside but the nursery is bright and warm and bursting with new life. Spring is truly here at last. This will be a season to remember.
