Farm Happenings for October 22, 2021

Posted on October 18th, 2021 by Jessica Linton

Hello Farm Family!

Shane and I took the weekend off to enjoy this incredible fall weather and do some of the things we love to do but never have enough time for. On Saturday we woke up at 4am to drive down to the New River Gorge in West Virginia and go white water rafting. We hit the Upper Gauley which only runs 6 weekends in the fall when they release the Summersville Dam. It is world renowned white water and has 5 crazy class 5 rapids. It was a 13 mile trip that was adrenaline pumping the whole time. On Sunday we drove up to Nelson Rocks, WV to do some rock climbing. Autumn is my favorite time to go rock climbing because you get up above the trees and can really do some major leaf peeping. The weather was perfect and we had so much fun being outside for a reason other than work!

We didn't get back until late Sunday night so I haven't gotten a chance to put up listings until now, on Monday morning. I know that closes the ordering customization window so I am extending the customization period until 730am on Thursday. Make sure to get your orders in because we have some awesome fall foods!
