September 23, 2021 finds us coming to the end of another major growing season with grateful hearts. As Autumn Equinox comes and goes this week, we celebrate the long day lengths which have ushered in the harvest. And, we begin to prepare for Winter. Don't get us wrong, the veggies will keep flowing for quite some time. In fact, we've got a better than ever harvest in of some of the favourites. And, the fieldwork is far from over. it usually takes until December to square everything away. So we're in the middle of a shift, neither idle nor immensely busy.
How does your Autumn find you?
We're preparing to keep veggie baskets coming until as close to Christmas as we can. Following the same plan as last year, we'll offer them to you - our farm members - first, providing a weekly share for as long as supplies last. As hinted at above, onions, carrots and garlic are in good supply.
