But let us present a Farm Stand with a twist. We've let you know now is the time to recommend the produce from this little bicycle-powered urban farm because in harvest season new members get the full range of what we supply (not the sometimes disappointing options May-June shares might present). Farm Stand is a fabulous soft introduction for the CSA-shy, confused, non-commital and unaware crowd. Here's how it works:
1. Sign up for Harvie farm stand
If we do not have any shares available at the moment, you’ll be asked to subscribe to the farm stand notifications. Signing up for the Harvie farm stand subscription just means you have expressed interest in receiving notifications about when we have extra products available for purchase through the farm stand. When we do, you’ll get an email!
If we have shares available, you can create an account while you place an order!
Please keep in mind it is not a guarantee that we’ll have extras each week!
2. Set your preferences for delivery and share options
When you set your share options, you’ll let us know which delivery options you want alerts about.
When you set your product preferences, your box will be built specifically for you based on those preferences and what the farm has available that week. To learn more about how preferences work, click here.
3. Order your products
When we have products available on the Farm Stand for purchase that match your product and share delivery options, you’ll get a notification and can go ahead and place your order.
4. You’ll have the opportunity to swap items depending on what is available on the farm.
The Swap option is the same one you get in your e-mail every week. It let's new Members have control over what they get, making Farm Stand an option for Restaurants, Cafes, Daycares and other businesses to sign up for a share and feed others from our farm too.
