Farewell to June

We have finally been blessed with some rain, which has been a great relief, and the crops are loving it. As always, so are the weeds, so the list of "what needs mowed" is a long one this week. We're saying farewell to June and greeting July, which brings me to some logistical information for the week of July 4th.

If you are scheduled to pick up on the farm on Tues, July 4, please read carefully:

On-Farm pick up on Tuesday, July 4th will be rescheduled for Wednesday, July 5th. The pick up hours will remain the same, 3 - 8 pm. If you cannot make this pick up time, please let us know and we can work with you. If you have a delivered share on Wednesday July 5, or Thursday July 6, your pick up hours will remain the same. 

A few other reminders:

- TOTES & OTHER ITEMS: If you have totes/lids collecting at your house, please return them to us as soon as possible. We also like to have our egg cartons, insulated bags and ice packs back too.

- VACATION / RESCHEDULING SHARES: If you need to reschedule a share, please try to do it a week or more in advance of your delivery date. Go to your Harvie dashboard and click "View All Deliveries". From there you can see all of your scheduled deliveries and have the option to reschedule, hold, or change the location of each of them. RESCHEDULE if you know the date that you'd like to move that delivery to - if you know the date that you'd like to get TWO boxes instead of one. HOLD if you don't know the date you'd like to move it to, but you know that you will not be able to pick up your box that day. If you'd like to change your location for any particular delivery dates, select CHANGE LOCATION.

- SOLD OUT ITEM PROTOCOL: In the event that we are sold out of an item in your box (or the quality of what we have does not meet our standards) we will either: substitute another item OR credit your account back with the value of the item. If an item was an EXTRA (meat, milk, other products that we do not produce) we will credit your account the value of the item, replace the product with a very similar item, OR give you the exact same item the next delivery when it is back in stock. Our default is to credit your account back, particularly if we will not be getting the item back in stock within the next week or two.
