Farm Happenings for the week of July 12, 2022

Posted on July 6th, 2022 by Jessica Foote

Hello all,

I have been short on words and long on work the last couple weeks! However today I am going to take the time to explain a few things and make some announcements.

#1. RESCHEDULING- So I have investigated this question that has been plaguing us the last few weeks! As we move into the summer months more and more people have been trying to use the handy reschedule option that allowed for rescheduling shares. So long story short I opted to do the pay one set price per week rather then the deposit, or whatever payment plans Harvie opted because for whatever reason a lot of people could not understand the payment plan system. Thinking I would make things clearer I changed to what I thought would be a better option! In doing so I unknowingly opted out of the reschedule option. I know it sucks!!! I will change back this fall when the season is over! WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO RESCHEDULE NOW IS EMAIL HARVIE SUPPORT WITH THE DATES YOU WANT CHANGED & WHAT DATES YOU WANT THINGS RESCHEDULED TO! I am sorry for the inconvenience I have caused trying to make things better :(

#2. FARM STAR PETTING ZOO- Now that studies have slowed down & we have updated our website to include a booking system Jessalynn & Abbie are ready to have guests visit the animals! You can book under our events page!

There is the Petting Zoo, and a Pony Trekking/Scavenger Hunt options with the kids. They are excited & have been working hard with the animals to prepare them for your visits. If you want another day of the week outside Tuesday or Thursday we are open to inquiries and can do some Sunday afternoons. We are just trying to schedule Jessalynn's summer outings, and some family events and I have not yet taken the time to put in other availability!

I am open to farm tours on a very limited basis as I only want those people who are seriously interested to inquire, those days are currently posted as well.

#3. I have to apologize for the bunch/quart/lbs miss labeling in the packing & customizing section in Harvie as I am still learning how to enter products into their updated system.

I think that covers everything! New vegetables coming our way peas, cucumbers, zucchini!

Hope you are all well! Take care & see you soon!

Cheers your farmer,

Jess
