The 2020 CSA Season Begins

Posted on May 27th, 2020 by Michael Moss

Welcome to your 2020 CSA.

This year, so far, is going down as one for the record books.

Life has changed a lot for all of us and yet nature still has her own patterns and rhythms. Working at the farm since earlier in the year has been a healing touchstone for me. No matter what has happening in the world, getting my hands dirty and growing your food helped center and focus me. Now that the staff of the farm has coalesced around the mission of growing the best food in Boulder County, the touch stone of the farm is becoming central to their lives.

I am excited that our farm is now going to be a beautiful point in the lives of over 260 Boulder County families over the next 20 weeks.

We have worked hard to fill our fields with food over the last 4 months. You will have the opportunity to eat the bounty of this hard work over the next 20 weeks. The seasonality of food in Colorado is an adventure from spring greens to squash and peppers, then tomatoes and melons, followed by fall crops such as broccoli, cabbage and winter squash. It is my mission to make sure that the food you eat is fresh and delicious.

Thank you for being a member of the farm. Without our members we would not be able to do what we do. Together we can make our beautiful home an even better place, every week of the season.

Your Farmer,

Michael
