Special Thanksgiving Produce Offering this week! Sweet potatoes, lettuce mix, winter squash, onions, citrus, potatoes and persimmons and more will be in offering! We even got a surprise during the field walk today that some of the cauliflower is ready to harvest! My granddaughter and I had a great morning picking satsumas and grapefruits and our farmer friends Jimmy and Mildred Knowles farm in Montevallo! It has turned into a fun tradition and nothing like fresh citrus!

About the farm
Joy Haven Farm is a small Certified Naturally Grown market farm located in Shorter, AL, just north of Montgomery. We are entering our ninth growing season and strive for sustainability. We are currently offering Spring/Summer and Fall Farm Stand Session that includes our fresh seasonal vegetables and fruit. Add-ons such as eggs, yogurt, granola, coffee and meat from a neighboring sustainable farm can be delivered with each weeks share. We also provide seasonal vegetables to a number of local restaurants. We are thankful for what we have been entrusted with and will never use pesticides, insecticides, synthetic fertilizers or gmo seeds. Our goal is to leave our little piece of this world better than we found it.
