A peaceful sunset

Posted on October 17th, 2021 by John Eisenstein

A photo can never do justice to a sunset, especially one like we had the other day, the first day we saw the sun after a week of rain and clouds, but here it is anyways.  Imagine, if you will the hues more vivid, the air thick with the smells of autumn, and yet the unseasonable warmth acting as one last farewell to a departing summer.  This is the last regular delivery of the season. We plan on doing at least some late fall/ early winter "farmstand" offerings, but probably not every week, and we will consolidate a few delivery sites.

It was a very difficult season for me in many ways-- some issues were, as a;ways, of my own making, others pretty well beyond my control.  I'm not really sure what my plans for next year are.  I will definitely still be growing produce, but will almost certainly be cutting back in some way.  I'll be in touch over the winter as my plans take form.

Thanks for supporting our farm this season.  Despite a difficult year, I do love my job and I'm grateful to have the chance to do it.
