We are beginning to introduce the really good cold weather yields produced in taste, nutritional value, and variety. Still it's a delicate balance dependent on scheduling, customer demand, and crop rotation!
I scheduled the Winter CSA to begin January 4, and Fall Membership to end December 17 to coincide with the Alllen Street Farmers Market schedule that I agreed to support 3 months ago. I've been informed by email that this may change, and I cannot change my arrangement with Harvie, the CSA inventory computer. However I can delay the Winter distributions by one week; I will offer free home delivery to our CSA Members between December 26 -December 31, to partially remedy the disconnect. I'll work on the menu in the next two weeks, and give you plenty of notice.
