This Saturday is the last Farmers Market in Grand Ledge, and the last day for summer CSA is October 31. The week after, October 17, we will deliver CSA deliveries and preorders at the parking lot behind Flour Child Restaurant for one hour: 11:00-12:00 noon. I am afraid this month will feel like running the last 3 miles of a marathon!
I am energized by the cool weather and the rush of fall transplants. The transition period is always a marvel to me, as we prepare for our winter CSA and some new members. I have a zoom meeting on Thursday with my online coach to review the finishing touches for the coming season, and also update a new online farmstand for the extra produce, and possibly a payment method that doesn't involve plastic! As always the CSA Members have first priority, especially important when some harvests are unpredictable.
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and the Allen Street Farmers Market on Michigan Avenue after that. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up, and as I mentioned before, we are in Grand Ledge on Saturday, 9:00-1:00. I hope to see you soon!
