Although they always seem to make us squeal because they take us by surprise, we love having toads and snakes in our garden. They are on pest control and we need all the help we can get! We found this guy earlier this week... And can you tell that this girl loves animals of all kinds! Haha! She ran and caught it as soon as she could. It's heating up outside, which is both good and bad, while I personally have loved the cooler temps of June, I know we need the heat for the garden. And it's starting to come alive with the heat! This week we'll have peas again, plus hot peppers, and our cucumbers are making their entrance! They may be a little funny shaped initially (Mason called them cucumbers with character - haha!) but they are crisp and delicious like only cucumbers are.

We left the hustle and bustle of city life to raise our children in the country. Getting into agriculture is a decision we've never regretted! Now we lovingly grow fresh food together as a family on our small farm. It's food we trust, and you can too! We want to feed our children the best we can, so we grow high-quality fruits, vegetables, and meats - everything from Arugula to Zucchini; Chicken and pork! - all free of chemicals, synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
