Farm Happenings for Summer #13

Posted on September 3rd, 2021 by Stacey Taggart

We spent a day this past week harvesting onions and let's just say, it's been a great onion year. :)  We're guestimating that we harvested over 300 lbs. of onions to be used the remainder of the summer and into the fall months, plus we're curing storage onions for our Winter shares. This is such an exciting time of year for us (and you too!) as all of our hard work and efforts earlier in the year are being rewarded in bounteous harvests.  Not that everything went as planned [wink, wink]. We have a few crops that grew dismally this season, but by and large, everything has done very well and we're thankful for that.  We still have plenty of tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers, and of course onions for preservation! Call or text Stacey [435-219-8670] to schedule your order or to set a time for you to come and pick them. ;)
