The heat is back, and while I can't say that we love it, it seems to have solved our zucchini/summer squash problem... The zucchini and summer squash weren't growing very quickly... But now that it's hot, that problem seems to be resolved and we're back to harvesting every day to keep from getting baseball bat-sized zucchini. haha! NEW THIS WEEK: Beets! Plus BASIL!! (need I say more?!) and cabbage. Also we love getting outside of the typical salsa box by making unique salsa recipes... and this week we have a fun one to share - a tasty ZUCCHINI SALSA which has tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, mint, lime juice, peppers, and, of course, zucchini. Plus Mason's delicious hummus that we all love so much. :)

About the farm
We left the hustle and bustle of city life to raise our children in the country. Getting into agriculture is a decision we've never regretted! Now we lovingly grow fresh food together as a family on our small farm. It's food we trust, and you can too! We want to feed our children the best we can, so we grow high-quality fruits, vegetables, and meats - everything from Arugula to Zucchini; Chicken and pork! - all free of chemicals, synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
