Summer Week #1 - The heat is on

Posted on June 10th, 2021 by Mason Taggart

Spring flew by in the blink of an eye and here we are with our Summer Shares once again! Welcome! And thanks for joining us! Well, the heat is on over the course of the next week with temperatures projected to soar over 100 degrees!... It's time to be up and out early to beat the heat. This next week will be our third major succession planting. The majority of our crops our planted in successions so that we can keep the freshness and quality just right. We plant four major successions during the course of the year, with smaller succession plantings about every two weeks starting in March. We had been harvesting from succession 1 during the course of the spring season and have a little more there to harvest, but will be getting into succession 2 for this coming harvest. That succession will last 7ish weeks and then, in mid summer season, we'll start harvesting from that which we're planting next week. It's like a big planting/harvest carousel!

We know you guys liked the raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing so we're offering that again!
