Farm Happenings for November 5, 2018

Posted on November 5th, 2018 by Sarah Rider

November doesn’t slow much down around here, and as we grow more in the winter, the work shifts, but not slows. Brittany pretty much harvests from sun up to sun down. Tom finished prepping the new high tunnel for seeding and all of the garlic went in the ground last week. I’ve been working on getting the new info launched for the 2019 CSA season. However, we all take relieve and enjoy some of the seasonal clean-up chores on the list, too. Tucking this season’s garlic away in storage, pulling out tomato stakes, cleaning out the corners of the barn are all satisfying tasks of completion.

The final CSA harvest will be next week, the week of Nov. 12th. All of the new information is up on our website for the 2019 CSA season!
