A COUPLE REMINDERS:

*Don't forget to check the extras section when you customize your box! And don't forget to take advantage of your ability to customize ;)

*Remember to check that your entire order is there before you leave- if your order is large, it may be packed into 2 boxes

*If you still have reusable mesh bags from last year, bring 'em  so we can start filling them up again with yummy delectables again.

Farm Update:

This has been a pretty rough Winter and Spring, so our offerings will be more limited than usual this time of year.  If you decide you aren't finding enough items you want, you can decide to cancel up until Friday the 5th 5:30 am.  Don't worry, you won't be charged.  If you are every other week, you can also choose to reschedule your box for a later date. If you need to cancel your box and want to donate instead, you can do so by changing the delivery location to "Donate My Share".

Things are full steam ahead here on the farm.  The tractor team has been busy mowing and tilling in *cover crop as fast as the soil is dry enough for us to till.  The better drained ground is being shaped into beds and we've been clearing out the overfilling greenhouses of plant starts. The first potatoes are going in this week, rounds of broccoli, bunching greens, cauliflower, fennel, spring onions, lettuce have all been planted.  The first round of green beans have been sown.  Tomatoes were transplanted last week and peppers should go in soon.

*plants we grow on our fields over the winter to reduce erosion, sequester carbon, and provide in situ fertilizing boost

Here's what you can look forward to being available (some items' quantities will be limited):

Coming soon: sugar snap peas, parsley, fennel, cilantro, dill, scallions, kohlrabi and more

There were a few ripe strawberries, but they're mostly in the white stage and we have a flock of some 20 crows that is having a lot of fun eating then and pulling up the plants for some reason.  Scarecrows are hard at work as are the fake owls & scare tape too.

We're so excited to finally be getting our season up and running and to be feeding you and yours this coming year!
