This is a wonderful time of the year when many veggies are real happy with the weather and the lessening bug pressure. Radishes and turnips have been doing well. The lettuce last week was great. Future fall crops include carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, beets, spinach, kale, sweet potatoes, turnips, winter radishes, chard, ginger and turmeric, bok choi, broccoli, parsley, dandelion greens, and some summer crops like peppers for the next month. Fall season will run from Aug 31 to Dec 12. Sign-ups now available. There will be a week off after Thanksgiving.
We grow certified organic vegetables in an intensive no-till system. We'll also offer produce and goods from other local farmers.
Pick up in Holiday Island on Monday afternoons, Eureka Springs on Wednesday or Saturday. Or have your subscription delivered to your home or business on those same days for a small fee. (Note, the Saturday market pickup in Eureka Springs will end after Oct 31st.)
