Hello Friends! Summer is here in force and we have (literally) an abundance of produce, herbs and flowers! With this hot humid weather you can almost watch the plants and fruit growing in the fields. Delicata squash is starting to come in now and will start to be available next week for you. This is an easy winter squash that doesn't require a lot of cooking to be delicious!
On the CSA side of things we still have room for another 100 members and I would love to see those filled by the end of July before the tomatoes are peaking. Please help spread the word through your neighborhood listserves and social media.
During this time of year we worker even harder to make sure that the boxes are packed and stored in the walk in cooler before we deliver them to you. Let me know how the veges are holding up for you.
We’re also entering peak flower season so be sure to order one of my wife’s gorgeous bouquets for your picnic table.
