This week starts the new drop points at Tenley Village and Cleveland Park. Membership this year will be limited to 200. If you know anyone who is interested in joining then they should sign up soon!
We are almost finished planting the onions and have started the kales, cabbages and celtuse. On deck is tuscan kale, napa cabbage and basil!
Next week we will have the following new items: Parsley, daikons (we found some in the cooler), romaine lettuce, mild mustard greens mix ("sweet and spicy), thyme, sage, oregano, and live plants! We have the edible nasturtium flower (leaves are edible too in 3" pots) and fig trees that we propagated from our neighbors at Threefold farm..."Adriatic", and "Celeste" which will do great in DC and Mount Etna will do better for the PA members. We will also be adding the Italian sausage this week (outside of the butcher box) because we have a lot to move right now. This is from our old friends at North Mountain Pastures and is delicious!
