Welcome back CSA members! It has been a busy spring for us on the farm. This spring brought lots of cold weather and most of our early crops got a slow start because of it. As things are warming up, our crops and our crew are growing. This week will be the first week with all four of our apprentices and our full student crew. This is an exciting time for us and we are happy to have the full crew here and ready to work. The crew has been hard at working keeping the greenhouses weeded, planting crops in the field, and doing a lot of hoeing. It's hard to believe that we already have our first succession of tomatoes in and that we are starting to pick strawberries! We are excited for the CSA to start and to begin harvesting for you again! We are looking forward to sharing with you the abundance of spring and summer crops to come. Will |

About the farm
The Dickinson College Farm is an eighty-acre, USDA-certified organic farm and a living laboratory where students can gain distinctive, hands-on learning experiences. Student employees, graduate apprentices and volunteers are involved in all aspects of food production and research. The farm serves as a venue for the Dickinson community and its neighbors to experience a holistic approach to land stewardship rooted in management practices that work to sustain the natural environment.
