Daybreak Growers Alliance has been working with the butchers at A Small Good to put together a pork share. This pork comes from happy gmo-free crossed heritage breed hogs raised in Monmouth, Maine with continual access to fresh air and plenty of room to muck around.

This pack is the result of considering how to most efficiently utilize the whole hog, reducing waste and keeping down cost down for the farmer, a small good, us and you! Additionally, we selected frequently used and versatile cuts to ensure you have lots of culinary options with your pork cuts.

Pork Share $49.50: 1lb breakfast ground sausage; 1lb italian ground sausage; 1 pack 2ct pork chops (avg. 1.5lb/pk); 1 x10oz bacon; 1 quart pork consume broth

Planning your Easter menu? Check out the pork loin roasts and rose veal shoulder roasts from Springdale Farm and organic briskets and chuck roasts from The Milkhouse when you customize today! We're lining up some Easter treats for upcoming boxes too.

Meet your farmer - Bahner Farm

Christa and Mike Bahner run Bahner Farm on Rt 17 in Belmont, Maine along with a dedicated team of kick-a$$ employees. Together they’ve mastered the art of growing winter greens with the help of wood-heated greenhouses, which DGA Farm Box subscribers have been crunching away on right through the dead of winter. Enjoy the certified organic and wildly diverse fruits of their labor year round through Daybreak, and stop at their bustling seasonal farm stand for a face-to-face sense of the farm. And extra thanks to Christa from the Daybreak team and many happy customers for her original role as one of our co-founders, and continued work as one of our farmer advisors.
