Update from New Beat Farm

It’s hard to believe the signs of spring and the new season are starting to come at the farm. The horses have already begun shedding their warm winter coats, the first wave of grackles and a catbird are hanging out in the big old ash tree out front, greens dormant for the past few months are starting to grow back in our tunnels and we’ve been busy in the greenhouse starting leeks, greens, peas and lots of flowers as of late. We’re still relishing in the “slower” time of year, our daughter Robin has been enjoying her first winter, filled with outside adventures. Between a new baby and the farm Ken and I haven’t really slowed down to read any books by the fire per se but have cherished the little bit of extra time we have this time of year. Soon the greenhouses will be filled with new seedlings and fresh spring greens and the cycle will start over again! Thanks so much for all your continued support of all of our farms over these winter months. We look forward to spending another season with all of you!
