As we move toward spring it's time to plan for the abundance of the summer harvest! Members will receive notices in boxes by the end of this week about Auto-renew for our Main Season (June-December) which will start processing on March 15. The current Winter Season continues on the same schedule through the end of May, no changes will occur to your current order! A more detailed email will be coming this week about how the auto-renew process will work – watch for that in your inbox!

This week we have plenty of Extras available from our Maine producers for you to stock your pantry. Let us know if you need any assistance with customizing your boxes or setting your preferences, email farmers@daybreakgrowersalliance.com.

You can find your Auto-Renew Settings here:

In your account, in the menu go to -----> MY PROFILE ----> AUTO-RENEW SETTINGS that gets you to the screen shown below, you can toggle Auto-Renew on or off, if Auto-Renew is Off in your account you will not be renewed but you will still be able to manually place your order for the summer! Email farmers@daybreakgrowersalliance.com if you have any questions or would like assistance with Auto-renew.

Update from New Beat Farm

It’s hard to believe the signs of spring and the new season are starting to come at the farm. The horses have already begun shedding their warm winter coats, the first wave of grackles and a catbird are hanging out in the big old ash tree out front, greens dormant for the past few months are starting to grow back in our tunnels and we’ve been busy in the greenhouse starting leeks, greens, peas and lots of flowers as of late. We’re still relishing in the “slower” time of year, our daughter Robin has been enjoying her first winter, filled with outside adventures. Between a new baby and the farm Ken and I haven’t really slowed down to read any books by the fire per se but have cherished the little bit of extra time we have this time of year. Soon the greenhouses will be filled with new seedlings and fresh spring greens and the cycle will start over again! Thanks so much for all your continued support of all of our farms over these winter months. We look forward to spending another season with all of you!
