We are SO excited to launch our 2023 farm share season with you. We currently have 22 local producers growing, preserving, flower designing, ranching and baking for your weekly deliveries with at least five more joining us later in the season. Here are a few tips as we begin the season:
- BE SURE TO SET YOUR PREFERENCES in your Harvie account. Harvie is our online sales platform. You only have to do this once, but it is critical to ensure the online platform sorts items into your box that you prefer. If you are a returning share member, you don't have to do it again.
- SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER: We are changing our format this year to reduce the number of emails sent to you. We hope you will subscribe to our newsletter to receive announcements, specials, recipes, workshops, and stay in touch with your local growers.
- CUSTOMIZE YOUR BOX: Every Sunday evening you'll receive an email from Harvie prompting you to customize your box. It will tell you what has been allocated into your box based on your selected preferences and you have until Tuesday at 6pm to add/delete/swap any items. The inventory allocation builds to the value of your box.
- FARM STAND OPTIONS: We have both an online farm stand and in-person farm stand. If you are on an every other week or monthly subscription, feel free to use our online farm stand to order extra items in-between your scheduled deliveries, or visit the farm stand in person at Daily Blessings Farm which is home and the pack house for the Josephine County Farm Collective.
You will see a lot of spring greens in our first few weeks with more diversity arriving as the weather changes to the summer temperatures. We encourage you to stay connected with your food source by reading our newsletter, trying new recipes and learning about how our producers take great care to grow healthy and safe food for you and your families.
