Blueberries are finally here! Talk about a perfect snack in the field, I have to stop myself from eating too many. Our cucumbers are starting to climb the trellises, which means we should start harvesting some soon! We started trellising our cuc plants about 2 years ago because it helped the plants stay cleaner (less dirt/mud) and the cucs would be much straighter hanging down with gravity. It has been a bit chilly on the farm but I have enjoyed not sweating and swatting mosquitoes this week, I know that weather will be here before long. Well I think we all got enough rain last week, wayyyy too much at the farm, but the weather looks great for this week and we are picking some beautiful carrots right now.
