The amount of rain we have been getting at the farm is unbelievable, way more than needed. The worse part about excessive rainfall right now is it makes our big heirloom tomatoes split, and takes away from the flavor with the excess water. Tomatoes are sooooo close I can taste them! Thinking we will be able to harvest enough next week to offer in our boxes, especially with a few days of nicer weather ahead(FINALLY). We dried out from all the rain last week, just in time for another round of wet weather. Bell peppers are getting very close and eggplant is not far behind, should see some next week.
