Farm Happenings for September 17, 2020

This week we have a small batch of pickles available as extras. They were made today so if you let them sit a few more days in your refrigerator they will be more tasty. We have beautiful red cabbage from our friends at Underwood Family Farms as well as apples from Fair Hills Farms. We don't have enough for everyone but it is important you are updating your preferences on harvie so that you are sure to get the produce you love. Our cabbage leaf greens this week have some aphid pressure as we are fighting them hard wit this crop. Make sure you are washing your greens as always! Happy to welcome our last rotation of summer squash for the season this week. If you get some in your share this week, please be sure to let me know how they are.
