*We are making fresh zucchini bread loaves this week! Ingredients are: zucchini grown on farm, eggs laid on farm, sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt. There will be a few loaves available as extras. Everyone loves my moms zucchini bread!
Thank you all for returning the bags! This week we have a few eggplant on the list! More to come of those so if you don't get any this week, you will soon. We are featuring a sweet corn from Underwood Family Farm this week. Some of you had this corn last year so you know how delicious it is. I am amazed at how great tasting our lettuce still is in the heat of the summer. The double shade cloth and more frequent watering is doing the trick. We hope you enjoy this special treat this time of year! We are officially rolling out our new CSA membership season on July first. This season will run from the first week of August until the week right before Christmas. Delivery days may change as we are working out the best harvest days for our farm. Our goal is to always get you produce a day or two before it is cut. If we change the days we will be sure to let you know before the season starts. As always, we will keep you very informed every step of the way. Thanks so much!
Ps- in a couple weeks I will include pictures of our new and improved chicken coop. We are so excited for this! more shade and a mister system for the chickens as well.
