Farm Happenings for October 22, 2019

Posted on October 18th, 2019 by Jodi Danyo

New this Week:  Pie pumpkins, lemongrass, and broccoli continue this week!

Hi Everyone!

Since this is the last regular week of the season and we know some of you won't be joining us for the two bonus weeks, we want to take this opportunity to say how grateful we are for all of our farm share members.  It is our pleasure to grow healthy, organic produce for you and your families.

The end of the season is bittersweet for us.  Although we love growing for farm share, we are ready for a break from all the physical work in the fields.  We need the slower pace of winter to rest and rejuvenate for next season.  We still have a number of tasks to complete to put the farm to bed for the winter, but we know that a hard frost is coming sooner or later, and the pace of farm activity is slowing down.

Thank you for joining us this season, and we hope to see you back in 2020!  Auto-renew will be February 3rd, and we will be unveiling all of our big plans for next year in the coming weeks!  We'll also be sending you an end of the season survey to get your feedback.  As always, please feel free to reach out to me at any time with comments and questions at jodi@cherryvalleyorganics.com.

For those of you continuing on through the two bonus weeks, stay tuned for beets, cabbage and baby carrots coming soon!

Thanks again for being a farm share member this season, and enjoy fall...

P.S. Our final Customer Appreciation event continues this week with more sunflowers for those of you on the biweekly schedule.  Enjoy!
