Hi, Friends.  The customization period for next Thursday's (August 3rd) harvest is now OPEN and will remain so until 9 a.m. Sunday morning.  If you'd like to change the crop list you currently have, or add other items or quantity, NOW is the time to do so.

The following items are available ONLY to those customizing their shares:  Eggs, Chicken, Fresh Pasta, Cherries, Blue Berries, and Oyster Mushrooms.

Thank You and Thank You for returning your (folded flat, no rips) share box to your pick up site ~ we really appreciate all the boxes members have returned thus far!

We hope you are enjoying the harvest as we enter the summer season.  Thank You for your membership.

Your farmers,

Mike, Kim, and Crew

This Week's Photo: Two handsome heads, one of them also thoroughly adorable.  I was in the front field a few days ago, lost in thought as I was cutting cabbages for the coming week's orders.  A small, sweet voice cut through my work focus and found my ears: " what are you doing" it said.  I looked up, and there was my neighbor's grandson, Tony, standing at the fence watching my activities.  "I'm cutting cabbages, Tony," I said and went back to work.  A few moments passed and looking up, I found that Tony hadn't budged and was peering at me intently.  I said, "Tony, would you like a cabbage?  Maybe your parents would like a cabbage." He nodded vigorously, so I looked about for a nice full head, found one, and cut it. Reaching over the fence, I placed it in Tony's outstretched arms.  He turned and headed toward his grandparent's back porch. Later that day, Mike, Tony's grandpa, sent me this photo, and pretty well knocked our socks off.  Tony's papa later reported that they had cooked up the cabbage and it was delicious. And so is this photo.
