Posted on August 4th, 2023 by Mike Finger

Hi, Friends.  The customization period for next Thursday's (August 10th) harvest is now OPEN and will remain so until 9 a.m. Sunday morning.  If you'd like to change the crop list you currently have, or add other items or quantity, NOW is the time to do so.

The following items are available ONLY to those customizing their shares:  Eggs, Chicken, Fresh Pasta, and Oyster Mushrooms.

Thank You and Thank You for returning your (folded flat, no rips) share box to your pick up site ~ we really appreciate all the boxes members have returned thus far!

We hope you are enjoying the summer harvest.  Thank You for your membership.

Your farmers,

Mike, Kim, and Crew

This Week's Photo:

Tomatoes ~ what else! We are practically eating tomatoes w/ every meal and in between. We are very pleased with a number of varieties we are growing this season that are hybrid crosses of older heirloom tomatoes, like Brandiwine, Striped German, Cherokee purple, and German Johnson.  Heirlooms like these can be delicious, but are notoriously unreliable to grow, often delivering poor yield and quality.  Crossing these old types w/ modern varieties with more reliable production traits results in in very flavorful, colorful, and productive tomatoes. We love their variety and flavor and hope you do as well.
