Pork Share Happenings for December 7th, 2022

Posted on December 4th, 2022 by Mike Finger

Greetings Friends:

The customization period for this coming Wednesday's Pork Share (December 7th) is now OPEN and will remain so until nearly midnight tonight (Sunday, 12/4).  If you'd like to review the contents of your share, or make changes to it (swap, delete, or purchase extra items) NOW is the time to do so. This will be the final delivery of the 2022 Late Season Pork Share.

Due to the perishable nature of fresh meat, it is essential you pickup your Pork Share the day of delivery (Wednesday).  Your pork products will be individually packed and frozen and assembled together in a quilted freezer bag , so they will maintain their frozen state for several hours. If you are receiving a vegetable share box, we will stack your vegetable and pork shares together at your pick up site. If you are not receiving a vegetable share, your Pork Share will be packed in freezer bag and delivered in a wax box labelled with your name and a list of the items you are receiving that delivery.  Be sure to take only the delivery box labelled with your name.

If you are unable to pickup your Pork Share by early Thursday morning, please contact us so we can arrange for your site host to hold it for you until alternate pickup arrangements are made. IMPORTANT: Please return the quilted delivery bags your share is packed in when you come for your next delivery.  It's important to Alluvial Farm's budget health that they be able to reuse these cold product bags several times.  Thank You!

We hope you enjoy your October Pork Share!  Please don't hesitate to contact us if you should have any questions or encounter any difficulties picking up your share.

Yours, Mike & Kim

P.S.  If you haven't yet done so, we encourage you to visit Alluvial Farm's website for more information and history about this outstanding operation:
