Farm Happenings for July 30, 2019

Posted on July 26th, 2019 by Chuck Pugh

Hey everyone this week has been wonderful with the slightly cooler temps. Sorta makes us believe that there is a temperature other than hot & humid here in Georgia. Lynn and Conner have been clearing out beds to plant fall crops. Carrots, lettuce, and broccolini seeds have all been sown this week. Also harvested some baby butternut squashes today, they'll need to cure for a few weeks before they're ready.

I have heard from one of our bee keepers and I think we'll have some raw honey in the next few weeks. Last year our honey was very floral and light colored I'm excited to see what the bees have in store for us this year. I will keep everyone posted.

****Please read this one*** I wanted to remind everyone that Auto-Renew will take place August 5th.     We have a limited number of spots for the Fall Shares which, start August 25th. If you have your heart set on receiving a share for this season please sign-up soon.
