Summer 2019

We're still talking about tomatoes this week, the fun never stops here at the farm. The roma's have steadily been picking up.We enjoyed our first spoon tomatoes(micro tomatoes or cocktail tomatoes) from our incubator farmer Eva. She is always surprising us with the things she grows. These tiny tomatoes may not seem like much but they pack some great big tomato flavor, worth a try for any tomato lover. On the other end of the spectrum Lynn grew a german giant tomato that lived up to it's name, it weighted in right around 2#! The giant heirloom is living up to it's name, although it  has been slow to produce it does make up for it in show stopping beauty.

We have been able to get a lot more things done here at the farm thanks to Conner, our intern. He's a music major turned agricultural architect. Today he was working on trimming down the garlic we harvested a few weeks ago. The garlic still needs to cure a little longer, but soon you'll see them in your shares.

Keep your eyes open for the notices about fall's auto- renew, it will process on August 5th. We are asking that you sign up earlier than the auto-renew date if you have your heart set on fall veggies. We are doing a smaller number of shares for Fall, which leaves us with only about 30 spots left. **if you would like to opt-out of auto renew it is very simple. log into your profile and scroll to the bottom of the main page and click on the edit profile button. Uncheck the box  that reads auto-renew and viola you are good to go.

Thanks everyone and enjoy your farm fresh veggies this week!
