Happy Tuesday to our wonderful CSA community!
If you have been on the farm in the last week, you may have seen that we have some construction happening. You will also have seen that many spring lettuce beds are being cleared (some harvested, some sent to the animals after bolting...and is always sad, but inevitable in this heat) which is making room for more summer and fall crops!
Speaking of Fall crops, we are in the process of planning our Fall CSA. We will open up registrations soon. It will begin the week immediately following the end of our Summer Share distribution, Aug 28th, and run through part of December. We are excited about the squash, pumpkins, roots, and greens we will be able to provide for you this fall, Lord willing!
There are many of you who have yet to sign up for your work share day. We have many spots open, so please contact us or mention it when you pick up your share so we can get you scheduled. We have Thursday and Friday mornings available, and have moved our Saturday work morning( to Tuesday evening, from 6-8:30. It's a lovely time to get out as the temps are cooling down from the day's heat.
If you are able to return your pint and quart cartons, we would greatly appreciate it!
