We hope you enjoyed your first raspberries in the shares last week! Look forward to having them in probably every share for the rest of the season. We are desperately in need of help keeping up with the harvest demand until we can onboard our high school student workers - if you or anyone you know can lend a couple helping hands for just a couple weeks, we'd be able to make more raspberries available to the community at the markets. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. THANK YOU SO MUCH... The blackberries are only a couple weeks away from harvest as well!
Though we are beyond peak strawberry season we still have a few weeks left of their harvest. Storing, jamming, and freezing tips can be found at Agriberry.com. I find that if I slice up my strawberries as soon as they get home, and put them in a sealed container in the fridge, then they are super easy to just eat with a fork as an after dinner snack without collecting a messy pile of strawberry caps. EAT MORE BERRIES!
