sad carrots :( but thats farming...

Way back at the end of February we seeded our first carrots of the season - several hundred feet of row which we expected to provide for this community from late June to early August.  They are the most anticipated roots of the year, those early new carrots - so sweet and crunchy and fresh.&nb1 read more »

We've got week 1 of the CSA under our belts, and that feels good!  We received great feedback and expressions of awe at the giant heads of lettuce.  If they overwhelmed you, rest assured we grow some medium-sized and even mini heads too!  Both our Tuesday and Friday harvest days were1 read more »
