Mussel Tartine

Ingredients
loaf of french bread
tin of mussels
olive oil
parmesan
green onions, chopped
garlic clove
cracked pepper

Instructions
Slice the french bread into 1/2-inch slices. Cut the clove of garlic in half and rub on each side of the bread. Drizzle the bread with olive oil and run under the broiler for a few minutes until just getting toasted. Remove from the oven and place a couple of smoked mussels on each slice of bread, grate parmesan over all slices, and sprinkle with green onions. Run back under the broiler for just a few more minutes. Then finish with cracked pepper and serve.
