What a special week it has been. For all the families that came out to our 1st Zilnicki Farms Summer Soirée, all I can say is what a perfect night! All the stars aligned and we had an absolutely amazing night. The barn was gorgeous, the view was on point, the music was perfect, the décor was spot on, the food was absolutely amazing, and the list goes on. Special thanks to Farmer Jackie for taking the reigns and making sure everything was in place, thanks to Peggy and Ed for letting us use the barn, thanks to mom for the décor, thanks to Steve the musician, thanks to Chris Kar at Dominion Estate, Kar catering, Maple Tree BBQ, and all the people that donated for the Chinese auction. Also, the generosity in the Chinese auction was amazing and we are able to contribute $1000 to the foundation my sister in law is setting up in the memory of her son Cole. She will be blown away I'm sure. If you missed the night I hope you can make it next year!
Yes this weekend looks like some rain from a little tropical storm. It is unfortunate for the farms that depend on the weekends, however, I will be loving it and spending some much needed quality time with the family.
