Beans are officially here in abundance! Last week was just a taste and everyone hopefully got a pint. Now on they will be a quart value! A light steam, butter and garlic...yum!
More tomatoes are starting to ripen and egg plants! Woot! The cold frame cucumbers aren't looking so hot since the cucumber bottles arrived but they're still chugging along, just not produce the volume I was hoping. But we just got our second planting of cucumbers planted and covered so hopefully we'll be swimming in cucumbers come September.
All and all, how about the rain! We haven't had a July like this since 2009. As much as I love the rain, hopefully we don't get blight (disease) in our tomatoes! It's a little too much rain for some heat lovers that get mildew.
