We took a mini camping vacation at the beginning of this week to Presquile. May and June are always crazy busy on the farm. We start off harvesting asparagus and then planting the garden and getting the first flush of weeds undercontrol. Now we're getting all the fall crops planted, including romanesco cauliflower, watermelon radish, broccoli, more lettuce and the list goes on. Garlic is also getting harvested this week and will be hung in a dark cool places for curing.
Summer crops are also starting to trickle in. Our first small harvest of beans is this week!
It's always a busy place on the farm, so we're very grateful to be able to sneak away to for a couple days and really enjoy time with the girls!
