Being a shareholder in our farm means you’ll have three seasons of guaranteed access to the freshest, highest quality produce... which means tastier, more nutrient-dense food for you and your family. More importantly, our shareholders form an amazing, engaging community centered around all things delicious.
Our primary way to share information with this incredible community is through our weekly e-newsletters. Several days before your delivery or pickup, you’ll receive an email from us titled “Your Willowsford Farm Share Is On the Way!”. The most important function of this email is to give you a first peek at what’s coming in your share, but that’s really just the beginning. When you click the email link to “Continue Reading”, you’ll be taken to our online blog for details about upcoming events, your weekly meal plan, and a full list of the “extra” farm goods (like additional produce, bread, honey, and pastured meats) available to add to your share. These extras help turn your CSA into a one stop shopping experience!
We know one of the most important factors in your enjoyment of your share is cooking! We’re all foodies at heart, and nothing makes us happier than knowing our work is made into wonderful meals. If you’re just beginning your CSA journey, or need a little inspiration to keep things fresh, take a look at our Pinterest page. We have tons of recipes, organized by both harvest crop and meat cut, right at your fingertips.
Throughout the year, we strive to offer volunteer opportunities to work alongside our crew. We believe that knowing where your food comes from means more than knowing the street address. We want you to be able to see firsthand that your shares each week are a labor of love! Being part of the Farm-ily means being part of the fun of growing. There is no substitute for the chance to harvest your own food, and get some rich, healthy soil on your hands. Details about all these activities will be available on both social media and in your weekly e-newsletters.

If you’re new to Harvie, our online CSA platform, here are some important tips to getting the most out of your membership!
- Have you set your preferences? This is the stored information in your profile that our awesome system uses to make sure that you get more of what you like in your shares, and nothing you don’t! It allows us to be sure we’re sending you only what you like to cook and to eat, so nothing goes to waste.
- Going on vacation and need to hold or reschedule your share?
- When company is coming or you want more of something special from Willowsford Farm, you can add “extras” to your shares from our harvest, or eggs, pastured meats, and locally sourced dry goods!
