A "New" Ride

Posted on January 13th, 2021 by anon0001 anon0001

Hey there Farm-ily,

How’s the week treating you so far? We have to admit, we’re feeling quite fancy over here at the Farm… if you’re a home delivery member, you’ll soon see the reason why! When we first decided last year to offer a delivery route, we upgraded our friendly old truck to a newer, larger box with a refrigeration unit in the storage compartment. During the heat of the 2020 season, this truck was one of our hardest-working crew members, making sure greens stayed crisp, flowers fresh, and eggs chilled as we drove hundreds of miles through Ashburn, Aldie, South Riding, Chantilly, and Sterling.

To show our Chevy just how much we appreciate her, this week we gave her a little makeover… our gal is now sporting some very "taste-full" decor that will help her stand out from the crowd, and the traffic! She's got a new vinyl wrap on all sides with our CSA website and some great graphics (thanks, Kelly). We smile every time we see her, and we hope you will too as she makes her rounds in your neighborhoods. I’m actually feeling a little jealous of the crew members that get to drive this stylish veggie wagon.

When we’re not appreciating the view from the driver’s seat, we’ll stay focused on the fields as we check off another week of Winter CSA, and take one step closer to Spring. As usual, Finn will be watching over us all, and picking up any stray carrots we leave behind.

Eat Well and Be Well,

Ashley, Collin, John, Alexandra, Gabe, and Finn - Your Winter Farm Crew
