Farm Happenings for August 12, 2020

Posted on August 9th, 2020 by Shelli and Paul Meulemans

When we get into August on the farm we are working so much that we don’t really think too much about the season anymore. Our thoughts begin to drift to cooler days when we can take care of some dream projects around the farm. We talk about furnishing our front yard into a personal orchard, where we can trial sustainable mixed plantings. We think about fall when we can have a day to take the old vinyl wrap off the delivery van, we dream of replacing the cladding on the outside of our shop/propagation building, painting our house, replacing flooring, and the list goes on.....

But alas! The sound of the birds and the drone of the frogs bring us back to the beauty at hand. Truly, this is the hardest time of the year, but the benefits of working with nature to bring the best food to our customers drives us to pursue greater heights, more delicious, nutrient dense food delivered direct to you.

Rock on! Thanks!
Paul
