Farm Happenings for July 21, 2020

It's already nearing the end of July y'all!  It's strange how I'm suddenly back here each week like there was no in between.  The days keep zipping by and we are already half way through the main season!!  It's mind-boggling, despite the fact that every season feels exactly like this super speed march.  As if each float in the parade is another week passing by.  So here we are changing our menus once more as the peppers begin to ripen and the okra begins to produce.  I swear it will be next week and we'll be donning the sweatshirts and wondering why we once again didn't preserve enough tomatoes. Alas, this is the life of seasonal eating.  Eat it until you're sick of it then miss it:)
