What is a garlic scape? It is the very interesting curly cue flower that the garlic plant sends up when trying to produce seeds. They are used like scallions, but with a garlic flavor! Just put your olive oil, coconut oil,or what ever you like for oil, and put the chopped up scape in there for a couple of minutes prior to sauteing greens, broccoli, or what ever veggie you would like to add this lovely flavor to. We sure love em!
